Digital Desk, July 14: The UPA candidate Yashwant Sinha arrived in Guwahati to campaign for the upcoming Presidential election on July 13. He was received by Bhupen Kumar Borah, President, APCC (Assam Pradesh Congress Committee), Debabrata Saikia, Leader of the Opposition in Assam Legislative Assembly and other MLAs of the Congress party at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport.
He took part in a meeting organized by APCC in Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra. Many dignitaries including Akhil Gogoi, Ajit Bhuyan were present during the meeting. Meanwhile, Yashwant Sinha said while interacting with media persons, ”The representatives of the Congress, AIUDF, TMC and the Left parties have assured me for their support in the election.”
