Digital Desk, August 16: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that the State Government would build more anganwadi centres in coming days. He announced about the initiative of anganwadi centre adoption. The key objective of constructing more anganwadi centres is to provide education and nutrition for children.
Regarding this, Himanta Biswa Sarma further added, ”With the inauguration of nearly 1,000 role model anganwadi centres across Assam, we have taken a giant step towards strengthening formative learning among young children. Our government seeks to contruct 15,000 such model anganwadi centres before 2026.”
Constructing an anganwadi centre is as important as constructing a Medical or Engineering College. It may be noted that the State Government has already spent Rs 25 Lakh to each anganwadi day-care centres.
