Samajwadi Party and Congress tie-up in Uttar Pradesh for Lok Sabha Polls

The President of Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav has confirmed on Wednesday, that there will be an alliance between the SP and the congress party for the upcoming Lok Sabha election polls. The deadlock over seat sharing reportedly broke after Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra spoke to SP President Akhilesh Yadav over a phone call. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai said, the Samajwadi Party will contest elections on 63 seats while Congress will contest on 17 seats in Uttar Pradesh. He said that the INDIA bloc will register victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and will defeat NBA. Our (Congress-Samajwadi Party) strategy is to stand firmly with each other. Akhilesh Yadav further added to the media: “ALL WELL THAT ENDS WELL”.
