As per the officials, on Wednesday, Oct 12, President of India Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate several development projects in Tripura during her two day visit to the north-eastern state. It will be Murmu’s first visit to the state after becoming the President.
The President is scheduled to inaugurate the Tripura State Judicial Academy and lay the foundation for the Tripura National University at Narsingarh in West Tripura, she will also inaugurate a digital museum at the 105- year- old historic Pushbanta Palace, which served as the Raj Bhawan for 46 years. On Thursday, Oct 13, the President will visit Udaipur to offer prayer to Tripureswari Temple and will leave the state for Guwahati around 1:10 PM. During her visit in Assam, Murmu will inaugurate a number of projects and institutes including the Dhubri Medical College, she will held a review meeting with all senior officials of the health and welfare department, medical education and research department, district administration and police in the presence of Rajya Sabha MP Pabitra Margherita and MLA’s of Dhubri District.
