Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday (january 15, 2025) inaugurates the new Congress headquarters in New Delhi, The Congress party has got its new Headquarters in the National capital. The new building is called Indira Bhavan it is named after former prime Minister Indira Gandhi. It is located on the Kotla Marg in the national capital. The office is just a few miles from the BJP Headquarters. This office was inaugurated by Sonia Gandhi back in 2009, in presence of former prime Minister Dr. Manmohan singh, but it took congress party 15 years to complete the building, And it is being inaugurated yesterday by Sonia Gandhi herself. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi are also present during the inauguration ceremony. This office has five storeys with each floor, designated for different hierarchies in the congress party. The top floor, which is the fifth floor, will be designated for the congress president, The leaders of congress president Mallikarjun Kharge,the leader of the opposition Rahul Gandhi and the other leaders. The fourth floor will be for congress general secretaries. The rest of the floors will be divided as per the hierarchies of the congress party.
