New Delhi, July 29 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday is going to address the policymakers in the province of education and skill development, students and teachers nationwide via video conferencing to launch several initiatives in the education sector on the 1st anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
According to Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the PM will launch the Academic Back of Credit in higher education ; first year Engineering Programmes in regional languages and guidelines for the Internationalization of Higher Education.
The initiatives to be launched also include Vidya Pravesh for grade 1 students ; Indian Sign Language at secondary level ; NISHTHA 2.O ; SAFAL ; and a website dedicated to Artificial Intelligence. NDEAR and NETF will also be launched at the event to make the education sector more vibrant and accessible.
