Digital Desk, August 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat today to attend Khadi Utsav at the Sabarmati riverfront in Ahmedabad. It may be noted that Khadi Utsav is being organised to highlight the significance of khadi in India’s freedom struggle.
As per an official release, there will be a live of 7,500 women from several districts of Gujarat spinning charkha. Narendra Modi will inaugurate a foot-over bridge at the Sabarmati riverfront. Additionally, to commemorate 40 years of Suzuki in India, Modi will address a programme in Gandhinagar. He will also inaugurate Smriti Van in Bhuj on August 28.
