Mumbai, August 6: On Thursday an oil spill has caused over 5km of the Juhu beach sand to turn black. It was first noticed by the several locals and morning walkers came to the beach. The oil in the seawater was following towards the shore that was turned sand in black. The Juhubeach, is the prominent tourists spots in Mumbai, which get polluted because of the oily stretch.
However, it is still not clear how the oil spilled into the sea water. Mumbai Mayor Kishor Pednekar said that the administration will inspect the situation at the beach.
