Indian Men’s Olympics Hockey Team proffers an autographed hockey to PM Modi

New Delhi, August 16 : The Indian Men’s Hockey Team, that had won a medal after 41 years at the recently terminated Tokyo Olympics, presented an autographed hockey to Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he hosted the Indian athlete contingent at 7, Lok Marg, the official residence of the PM on Monday.

The Prime Minister also interacted with India’s first-ever Javelin Throw Gold Medalist Neeraj Chopra , the Indian Wresting Team and badminton player P V Sindhu who he had ice cream with to fulfil his promise during the breakfast hour.

The Prime Minister will now be communicating with the Indian para-athlete contingent for Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games on Tuesday at 11 am via video conferencing.
