India scrutinizing alternatives to hire charter planes for evacuation from Afghan

New Delhi, August 17 : India is now exploring options to take charter planes on to remove more Indians from Afghanistan , according to sources revealed on Tuesday, since the circumstance proceeds to evolve the war-torn country after the Taliban takeover.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has sent additional C-130 J Super Hercules aircraft to Jamnagar for escorting passengers to Delhi along with two IAF transport aircraft landed at Hindan airbase in Ghaziabad.

The sources also said that India has parked it’s C-17 at Ayni Air Base in Tajikistan as the Kabul airport is now full of jostle.
