India AI Impact Summit Begins Today In New Delhi,Prime Minister Welcomes The Global Participants To The Summit.

One of the largest artificial intelligence conclaves in the Global South,The India AI Impact Summit will begin today in New Delhi, bringing together global leaders, policymakers, industry experts, researchers and innovators to deliberate on the future of artificial intelligence.

The India AI Impact Expo 2026 will be held from February 16 to 20 alongside the India AI Impact Summit at Bharat Mandapam and will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 5 PM on Monday.

The India AI Impact Expo 2026 will be spread across 10 arenas covering over 70,000 square metres and will bring together global technology companies, startups, academia and research institutions, as well as Union Ministries, state governments and international partners.

The event will feature 13 country pavilions showcasing international collaboration in the artificial intelligence ecosystem. Participating countries include Australia, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan and several African nations.

Over 300 curated exhibition pavilions and live demonstrations will be organised under three thematic chakras People, Planet and Progress. More than 600 startups are expected to participate, many of them presenting population-scale AI solutions already deployed in real-world settings.

The India AI Impact Expo 2026 is expected to attract over 2.5 lakh visitors, including international delegates, and aims to foster partnerships and generate business opportunities within the global AI ecosystem and

more than 500 sessions will be held during the Expo, featuring over 3,250 speakers and panelists.

In a series of posts on X, the Prime Minister welcomed global participants to the India AI Impact Summit, Highlighting the transformative potential of artificial intelligence, he said, “AI today is transforming several sectors, including healthcare, education, agriculture, governance and enterprise.

The AI Expo will enrich global discourse on diverse aspects of AI, such as innovation, collaboration, responsible use and more. I am confident that the outcomes of the Summit will help shape a future that is progressive, innovative and opportunity-driven.”

The Prime Minister also underlined India’s position in the global AI landscape, saying, “Thanks to the 1.4 billion people of India, our nation stands at the forefront of the AI transformation. From digital public infrastructure to a vibrant StartUp ecosystem and cutting-edge research.

The Expo will serve as a national demonstration of AI in action, where policy meets practice, innovation meets scale, and technology connects with everyday citizens, According to an official statement.
