Fresh flood in Nagaland cuts off NH29

With the recent heavy down pour of rain  in the state of Nagaland, several rivers and streams have swollen above the  dangerous  level and  mud slide in various  location are reported. the national highway that stretch between Dimapur to Kohima have severely impacted. 

Roads which was recently constructed form the previous year erosion  near Patkai (pakala river) was washed completely. SDRF and state forces have made the public aware about the dangerous and unstable condition of the area. Several, low lying colonies were also submersed by the flood and my household were force to left their home. people are made aware and requested by the village chairman to be more caution and request every individual to avoid venturing in and around of the river side.

In the recent past the national highway-29 that passes through the Nagaland  as well the neighboring state Manipur, which is the life line for both the state  have impacted with severed land slide and the entire road was  carried away due to heavy soil erosion.
