Fake Employment Racket In Morigaon Busted

The Assam police arrested a lecturer of Hatichong college in Nagaon along with a couple of others for  spreading false rumors through social media outlets, claiming of providing jobs in semi-conductor project.

Through Details investigation on the arrested individuals by the police led to one of the well-established fake organized rackets that had duped many unemployed youths in luring them with fake jobs offer in the multi -crore project.

With the Tata semi-conductor project set to come up in Jagiroad, ruthless elements have now become active in taking advantages on the innocent of the society to earn quick bucks without any remorse.

According to the police report, this organization even organized fake training and provides fake provisional appointment letters and collects 5000 each from the candidates. They even provide final appointment letters by taking 20-30 thousand from the candidates and even printed fake letterheads of the Tata Group.

Around 200 youths have become a victim to this kind of outrageous acts. Approximately Rs 24.95 lakh have recovered from the three arrested individuals  from two bank accounts from ICICI and State Bank of India under Saiqul Islam name.

Meanwhile, the Tata semiconductor project lodged a complain last year on Oct.10 to police for fraudulent job advertisement that was circulated on social media platform under the name of Tata Semiconductor Assembly and Test Private Limited.

A meticulously fake advertisement was circulated that includes nine-page PDF document with a web link was published. The main culprit Abdul Samim was arrested by the police in Golaghat in November last year and found that he had a massive link through Kolkata while committing his crime in taking money from the candidates from a bank account based in Kolkata.

 This type of unscrupulous elements act is not the first time the society will face nor be the last who tries to dupe on the eager and unemployment youth, therefore verifying and alertness of any kind of message or job opportunities must be double check before jumping into and became their victim.
