CM of Assam launched Mission Basundhara 3.0

Mission Basundhara 3.0 was announced by the Assam Government in a state cabinet on February 12. The successful Mission Basundhara2.0 is concluded today and the new mission 3.0 has launched at Sankardev Kalakshetra,Guwahati. CM Himanta biswa sarma inaugurated this new mission which aims to increase the state’s efficiency and modernization of land-related services. According to CM Himanta Biswa Sarma under Mission Basundhara 3.0 ‘land pattas’ will be issued to landless people and religious institutions. Also Tea Tribes and Gorkas will be given land pattas without taking into account their proof of residence for generations. The key services of this mission are digitalizing settlement of land to non-individual judicial entities, settlement of Bhoodan/Gramdan land, end to end digitalization of annual patta, and annual patta to PP conversion.
