Located in the Biswanath district of Assam, Behali Reserved Forest is a patch of semi-evergreen forest in the foothills of Eastern Himalays. This forest is a part of the greater Sonitpur Elephant Reserve and was declared as a reserved forest in 1917.
In accordance to this magnificent reseved forest, a webinar will be held on August 8, at 7 p.m on the Zoom platform. Moderated by Abhishek Bhuyan, President of Biswanath College Student Union
, the sole speaker of the webinar will be Dr. Abani Kumar Bhagabati, a renowned author and Professor of Geography of Gauhati University. A tremendous work has been conducted by him for the Reserve so far and also he has published many articles on it. The webinar will be on his say about the reserved forest and his experiences.
