The Directorate of Secondary Education , Assam, has announced a revised date for the Assam Teacher Recruitment 2024 examination. The exam, originally scheduled for december 29,2024, will now take place on January 19,2025. candidates can find updates regarding the new examination date on the official website at madhyamik.assam.gov.in.
As per the latest notification, candidates must re-download their updated admit cards using their application number and password starting january 3,2025, from 11AM. onwards. The admit cards will be accessible on the official website. This year, the recruitment aims to fill 8230 vacancies for the TGT while 1487 seats for PGT candidates. The exam will be for 150 marks with paper1. the visually impaired candidates will get an additional 20 minutes. Candidates having 60per cent marks in the exam will be considered to be passed and for reserved category candidates, the marks required are 55 percent.
