Saif Ali Khan admitted to Lilavati Hospital after knife attack. Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed at least six times by an unidentified attacker, who entered the Mumbai home in an attempted burglary on Thursday, police said. The 54 year old, who sustained injuries to his neck and near the spine, is reportedly out of danger after undergoing surgery in Lilavati Hospital. The police have confirmed that the attacker, who has been identified, entered the house at around 2:30 am via the fire escape in an attempt to rob the premises. The actor, however, tried to intervene, during which the accused stabbed him. Saif Ali wife Kareena Kapoor and sons Taimur and Jeh were present in the house at the time of the incident. His wife Kareena Kapoor’s confirmed that there was an attempted burglary at their residence during the early hours of Thursday. The statement said that the rest of the family, Kareena and their sons Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan, are doing fine. At that time of the incident, Kareena, Taimur and Jeh were inside the house. Saif tried to save his family from the attack and got injured during the scuffle, Saif’s older son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, brought him to the hospital.
