Digital Desk, August 18: The State Government has decided to suspend internet services during recruitment examination in several districts. As per the information by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, 14,30,337 candidates are expected to appear for the recruitment examination. It may be noted that the recruitment examination will be held in 25 districts of the state.
According to a press release issued by the Government, ”The Centre-in-charge in each examination centre will engage two videographers to video graph all relevant happenings in the examination centres.” Meanwhile, Himanta Biswa Sarma said during the meeting, ”Mobile internet services will be shut for two hours, from 10 AM to 12 PM and from 2 PM to 4 PM in the districts where the examinations will be held but wired internet will be available.”
