Russia Hits Ukraine Power Grid Early Cold Morning

In a Recent reports Vladimir Putin has intensified psychological and physical pressure on Ukraine through a major escalation in late-night and early-morning, Russia launched a massive air strikes nationwide barrage using 70 missiles and 450 drones.

The timing was specifically designed to hit during morning rush hour as commuters filled the streets, a shift intended to maximize civilian panic. The strikes targeted power plants in at least six regions, including Kyiv and Kharkiv, during extreme winter temperatures as low as -20°C (-4°F).

Kyiv and Moscow have agreed to a major prisoner swap after both the two countries held two rounds of US-mediated negotiations in Abu Dhabi since January even though no breakthrough have made  on the issue of territory, a key sticking point in negotiations.

President Zelensky accused Moscow of using “the coldest days of winter to terrorize people” rather than engaging in diplomacy however, Moscow has accused Ukraine of orchestrating the shooting of a top military intelligence general in the Russian capital on Friday, leaving him wounded.
