Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid an emotional tribute to former PM and Bharatiya Janata Party doyen Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth centenary. PM Modi write that the ”nation will always be grateful to Atal Ji for being the architect of India’s transition into the 21st century”.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee, one of India’s most revered statesmen, was born on December 25,1924, in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. His birthday is celebrated not just as a personal occasion but as a day to remember his invaluable contributions to the country. Serving as the 10th Prime Minister of India, Vajpayee’s legacy is defined by his leadership, diplomatic vision , and strong commitment to India’s growth on the global stage. Not just a politician, Vajpayee was also a gifted poet, and his speeches were often laced with poetic wisdom that resonated with millions of people. In his tribute, PM Modi hailed Vajpayee for his ”Foresight” in Landmark projects like the golden Quadrilateral, his instrumental role in conducting nuclear tests, and his unwavering commitment to strengthening India’s democracy and constitution. ”Our nation will always be grateful to Atal ji for being the architect of India’s transition into the 21st century, Modi said, recalling the challenges India faced before Vajpayee’s leadership.
