New Delhi, August 15 : While addressing the nation from the parapets of the Red Fort on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day , Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi gave a call for ‘Sabka Prayas’ together with ‘Sabka Saath , Sabka Vikas , Sabka Vishwas’ for constructing a new India of self-reliant when the country will celebrate 100 years of it’s Independence.
The PM stated that everyone’s efforts are of utmost importance in order to achieve “all our goals”. He then paid tribute to all the past leaders who fought the prolonged hard battle for Independence.
PM Modi also hoisted the tricolor at the Red Fort prior to his speech and then commended the Tokyo Olympic winners and covid warriors. He further announced that 75 ‘Vande Bharat’ trains will bridge different parts of the country in 75 weeks of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ .
