Gurdaspur (Punjab), August 11 : The Indian Air Force (IAF) on Wednesday initiates a rigorous inspection after an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) drone of the IAF fell-off on the paddy field of Kalanaur village of Punjab’s Gurdaspur on Tuesday. The IAF officials are currently riddling out what technical snag led to such an incident.
Concomitantly, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh met Union Home Minister Amit Shah to seek 25 companies of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and anti-drone gadgets for Border Security Force (BSF) for protection from Pakistan-backed terror forces.
This information cascades after a high alert was reverberated in Punjab on Monday when police recovered a tiffin box fabricated into an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).
