Two North Korean teens got sentence to jail for 12 years for watching K- POP

Guwahati, 20 January: North Korean authority have sentenced two North Korean teens to 12 years of hard labour for watching K-Pop. This news was come to know when the video was released by an organization  that work with North Korean Defector on the BBC. The video showed that the two teens were convicted of watching South Korean movies, music video, dramas those were released by the South and North Development (SAND). 

North Korea has for years imposed  sentences on anyone caught enjoying South Korean or any foreign entertainments like movies, obscene videos, dances, songs etc. North Korean Authority  alleged that they were  seduced  by foreign  cultures and ended up ruining their lives. The video showed two young teens being handcuffed. The defector of North Korean told BBC that for North Korean people,  South Korean Dramas or K-POP   are a drug that helps forget their difficulties reality, if they watch a K-Pop they get the shot.
